John 12:24

[24]Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.


BIBLE MEDITATION 

Philippians 3:7-11

[7]But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

[8]Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

[9]And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

[10]That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

[11]If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.



MESSAGE 

As believers, encountering the resurrection power in the Holy Ghost is an essential aspect of our faith walk. The resurrection power of the Holy Ghost is the power that raised Jesus from the dead and gives us victory over sin, death, and the devil. On today discussion, we will list and explain five benefits for believers to have an encounter with the resurrection power in the Holy Ghost


1. Power to overcome sin: When we encounter the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost, we receive the strength to overcome sin. Romans 8:11 says, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." This verse tells us that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us to overcome sin.


2. Power to witness: The resurrection power of the Holy Ghost gives us the boldness and courage to witness to others. Acts 1:8 says, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." This verse tells us that the Holy Ghost empowers us to be effective witnesses for Christ.


3. Power to pray: When we encounter the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost, we receive the ability to pray with power and authority. Ephesians 6:18 says, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." This verse tells us that the Holy Ghost enables us to pray in the Spirit and with perseverance.


4. Power to heal: The resurrection power of the Holy Ghost gives us the ability to minister healing to others. Mark 16:17-18 says, "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." This verse tells us that believers can lay hands on the sick and see them recover.


5. Power to live a victorious life: When we encounter the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost, we receive the strength to live a victorious life. 1 John 5:4 says, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." This verse tells us that our faith in God empowers us to overcome the world and live a victorious life.


In conclusion, encountering the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost is vital for every believer. It gives us the power to overcome sin, witness to others, pray with power, minister healing, and live a victorious life. May we continually seek to encounter the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost in our lives, in the name of Jesus.


KEY POINT 

In order to carry the cross of the Lord Jesus and follow Him, one must embody the principle of self-denial. This entails a complete abandonment of worldly desires in favor of following Jesus.


PRAYER POINT

1.  O power of resurrection fall upon my life ,in the name of Jesus.


2.  Holy Ghost fire, baptism my life , in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.


3. The spirit of the living take full control of my life,in the name of Jesus.
