BIBLE MEDITATION 

Hebrews 11:8-9,17 KJV

[8]By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

[9]By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

MESSAGE 

Complete obedience to God is a fundamental principle that is taught throughout the Bible. It is a way of life that is not only pleasing to God, but it is also beneficial to the individual who practises it. In our today devotional time, we will discuss six benefits of complete obedience to God with Bible support.


1. Protection: One of the benefits of complete obedience to God is protection. When we obey God, we are under His divine protection. The Bible says in Psalm 91:14-15, "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."


2. Provision: Another benefit of complete obedience to God is provision. When we obey God, He provides for our needs. The Bible says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."


3. Peace: Complete obedience to God brings peace. When we obey God, we have peace of mind and heart. The Bible says in Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you."


4. Joy: Another benefit of complete obedience to God is joy. When we obey God, we experience joy that cannot be found anywhere else. The Bible says in John 15:11, "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."


5. Blessings: Complete obedience to God brings blessings. When we obey God, we are blessed in every area of our lives. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:2, "All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God."


6. Eternal Life: The ultimate benefit of complete obedience to God is eternal life. When we obey God, we are promised eternal life with Him. The Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."


In conclusion, complete obedience to God brings protection, provision, peace, joy, blessings, and eternal life. These benefits are not only promised in the Bible, but they are also experienced by those who practice complete obedience to God.
